An underground, raw experimental jazz night.
American multi-instrumentalists Rob Mazurek and Chad Taylor create a vast sonic universe. On their latest album, Hyperglyph, the duo blends synthesizers and samplers with a diverse array of percussion. Their live performances are known for mixing experimental sounds with global rhythms. Formed thirty years ago in Chicago, the group serves as a bridge between progressive jazz and post-rock. Their music draws comparisons to the free-spirited play of Don Cherry and the 1970s sound of Miles Davis.

The performance takes place on October 29, 2026, at BIMHUIS, located at Piet Heinkade 3 in Amsterdam.
Rob Mazurek and Chad Taylor utilize synthesizers, samplers, and intricate percussion to explore their thirty-year history of avant-garde and post-rock fusion.
