Les Passants: Stimmen der Nacht
An open-air, nostalgic chanson night.
Tempelhofer Damm 85, 12101 Berlin, Germany
A musical journey through European nights: Les Passants tell stories of love, loss, longing, and new beginnings. French chansons, German songs, English tracks, and Italian canzoni meet in intimate new arrangements for voice, bandoneon, guitar, and double bass. The songs center on vivid characters: the woman waiting in a café, the lover on the platform, the traveler without a home, and the voice in the dim light of a bar. Music by Édith Piaf, Marlene Dietrich, Mina, Milva, and Kurt Weill combine for a poetic evening—a multilingual soundscape ranging from melancholy to swing.
