Tyrone Allen II is one of New York City’s most sought-after bassists and a generational talent on the global stage. Named a Rising Star Bassist in the 2025 DownBeat Critics Poll, he has performed and recorded with luminaries like Sullivan Fortner and Tyshawn Sorey, and currently holds the bass chair for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. His debut LP, UPWARD, showcases his singular compositional voice and band-leading prowess.
