Formed in 1992, Shiner is a Kansas City-based group that quickly gained momentum in the indie scene. They have toured with notable acts such as Sunny Day Real Estate and Jawbox. Their discography includes the Steve Albini-recorded LP Splay and the follow-up Lula Divinia. The band's sound caught the attention of Sub Pop records early in their career, leading to a 7" single release and extensive touring.
