KNOCKOUT is a Berlin-based event series dedicated to Gqom, the raw and hypnotic sound emerging from Durban’s townships. Defined by heavy bass, fractured rhythms, and minimalist intensity, the genre has significantly influenced the global dance landscape with its dark energy and physical presence. This edition features South African pioneer DJ Lag, alongside the collectives Freak de l’Afrique from Berlin and Unborn Sounds from Seoul. Together they present a night focused on deep frequencies and cutting-edge club sounds from the global underground.
