An underground spoken word night.
Rue Saint-Joseph 14, 1080 Molenbeek-Saint-Jean
British-Nigerian poet, performer, and musician Joshua Idehen brings his personal journey from depression to resilience to the stage. His work blends spoken word, electronics, and club music, shaped by his move to Stockholm and collaborations with projects like Sons of Kemet and The Comet Is Coming. Created alongside Swedish producer Ludvig Parment, his latest album 'I Know You’re Hurting, Everyone Is Hurting, Everyone Is Trying, You Have Got To Try' explores themes of grief and hope. The performance features powerful lyricism carried by house-influenced rhythms and warm electronics, inviting both reflection and movement.
