Na Lajé
An open-air, underground french rap night.
Na Lajé is a French-Brazilian day party celebrating the end of the FDLM festivities. The name literally means "on the slab" or "on the roof terrace" in Portuguese, referring to a vital social space in Brazilian neighborhoods for barbecues and gatherings with friends. This event brings together three collectives—Instinct Company, God Bless Records, and ROUD—for a day of live performances, DJ sets, BBQ, and drinks at the Terre-Terre open-air venue in Aubervilliers. Instinct Company, an independent label and promoter, presents a series of live sessions and sets, including their artist Poupy. God Bless Records, a creative label from Saint-Denis, showcases their GBR Cypher and resident DJs. ROUD, a São Paulo-based production house, joins to amplify hip-hop culture and foster a cross-continental cultural dialogue.
