Vivaldi's Gloria and sacred works performed by an all-female cast from Le Concert des Nations and La Capella Reial de Catalunya. Tickets on Mood.
Jordi Savall conducts an all-female cast, bringing together the soloists and instrumentalists of Le Concert des Nations in a tribute to the musicians of the Ospedale della Pietà. The program features Vivaldi's religious works, including the famous Gloria, alongside instrumental concertos including RV 286 and the second concerto from the collection La stravaganza. This modern revival of the 18th-century Venetian tradition creates an exclusively female space for study and musical excellence, drawing from the vast production Vivaldi composed during his tenure at the orphanage between 1703 and 1740.
The concert takes place on December 12, 2026, at the Paris Philharmonic located at 221 Av. Jean Jaurès au 6e étage, 75019 Paris, France.
