SLAYER: Reign In Blood 40th Anniversary
A nostalgic, high-energy metal night.
Slayer celebrates the 40th anniversary of their seminal thrash metal masterpiece, Reign in Blood, performing the album in its entirety. Formed in 1981, the California-based group is one of the "big four" of the genre, known for their ferocity, speed, and dark lyrical themes. Joining them for this milestone event are death metal pioneers Cannibal Corpse and sludge metal veterans Crowbar. Cannibal Corpse, established in 1988, brings their signature technical death metal sound and horror-influenced imagery. New Orleans' own Crowbar rounds out the bill, delivering their characteristic slow, brooding heavy metal that intertwines sludge with hardcore punk elements.
