An open-air, homegrown dutch folk night.
Every year in January, Amsterdam officially kicks off the tulip season during National Tulip Day. In 2027, the 14th edition returns to the city where Dutch tulip growers invite everyone to pick a bunch of tulips for free in a specially created picking garden. Featuring over 200,000 tulips on Museumplein, visitors can enjoy a lively atmosphere with a traditional Dutch brass band performing classic songs.
Visitors are invited to enter a massive temporary garden to pick their own bouquet of tulips for free.
The garden is located in the center of Museumplein, which is easily accessible by public transport via the Museumplein tram stop.
A traditional Dutch brass band performs live throughout the day to provide a seasonal atmosphere. Full schedule on Mood.
