Ba'sik Jam Session
A homegrown, underground jazz night.
Established in 2012, the Ba’sik Jazz Jam Session is a longstanding Brooklyn jazz tradition curated and hosted by saxophonist Matt La Von. Now hosted at Kato Sake Works, the session welcomes vocalists and instrumentalists of all experience levels to sit in and play jazz standards in an organized, welcoming atmosphere.
