Indringend en intiem muziektheater over liefde, afscheid en overgave. Twee geliefden vinden elkaar, wetende dat hun tijd samen beperkt is. In dit stuk creëert een vrouw een teder afscheid voor haar partner, waarbij ze de cello gebruikt als emotionele anker in haar proces van pijn en acceptatie. De voorstelling is geïnspireerd door het levensverhaal van componiste Tera de Marez Oyens en haar korte maar krachtige huwelijk met Marten Toonder. Een poëtische verkenning van verlies die niet zwaarmoedig is, maar juist gekenmerkt wordt door een pijnlijke tederheid.
