In Sleepless World, Boris Randzio combines powerful dance with music ranging from Bach to Radiohead. The result is a haunting space that bridges history, the present, and hope. Set to music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Radiohead, Hania Rani, and Studnitzky, the performance translates Stefan Zweig’s 1914 reflections on the restless state of the human soul into a contemporary language of movement. The piece explore themes of fear, longing, and a vision for the future through shared experience. The international ensemble perform solo and group moments within the historic architecture of St. Elisabeth-Kirche, where the venue's history of destruction and reconstruction merges with the performance's themes.
