In 2026, the Mississippi Blues & Barbecue Festival will once again transform the Kulturbrauerei into a hotspot for authentic blues. Curated by Micha Maass, the 13th edition of the festival brings together musicians who carry on the spirit of the blues from the Mississippi Delta with their own signature style and palpable passion. To go with the music, there is real Memphis-style barbecue: smoky, spicy, plentiful and warm, reminiscent of the juke joints of the south.
