In Dub Sessions explores the evolution of soundsystem culture from 1960s Kingston to modern electronic music. This summer series at Tolhuistuin celebrates the bass-led, spatial vocabulary of the Jamaican mixing tradition. The program features dedicated selectors playing a wide range of sounds including roots, lovers rock, dub techno, ambient dub, and leftfield disco. The sessions take place in the garden, accompanied by homestyle cooking from Stacks, creating an environment designed for immersive listening.
