Sputnik, the songwriter behind the noise-pop project Weatherday, presents Hornet Disaster, the follow-up to the 2019 debut Come In. This latest work is their most expansive to date, featuring a narrative that ties back to previous releases while exploring new sonic territories. The album's nineteen tracks weave together hectic melodies and unpredictable turns, ranging from Swedish winter tributes to folktronica experimentalism. Hornet Disaster represents a joyful abandon and the sound of an artist who has fully found their voice.
