Sarah Gillespie
An underground jazz night.
Critically acclaimed Anglo-American songstress Sarah Gillespie blends jazz, blues, and folk with her signature poetic lyrics. Known for her powerful reputation as a songwriter and performer, Gillespie has released five albums to widespread critical acclaim and has toured extensively throughout Europe, the UK, and the USA for over 15 years. Performing songs from her latest project with composer and guitarist Chris Montague, the show features a mix of gritty blues, folk stories, and rhythmic swagger. She is joined on stage by James Maddren on drums and Loz Garrett on bass. The evening opens with a support set from Californian singer-songwriter and pianist Storey Smith.
