Scott Hamilton & Rein de Graaff Trio ft. Philip Catherine

Scott Hamilton is one of the few tenor saxophonists of his generation who consciously chose the path of swing and bebop, following in the tradition of Ben Webster and Coleman Hawkins. He has performed with icons like Ella Fitzgerald and Benny Goodman, embodying the timeless essence of jazz. Tonight, Hamilton performs with his long-standing bandmates pianist Rein de Graaff, bassist Marius Beets, and drummer Eric Ineke. They are joined by the legendary Belgian guitarist Philip Catherine, a major figure in European jazz since the 1960s who has collaborated with Chet Baker and Charles Mingus.
