In the latter half of the Eighties, the Instigators were known as one of the hardest-working groups in the UK, tirelessly touring across mainland Europe and the USA on self-booked, zero-budget runs. Their DIY approach inspired a new generation of British bands to forge their own paths. After bowing out in the early '90s following massive European tours, the band returned in 2025 to perform a selection of live shows.
