At Autumn Jazz, Maarja Nuut presents Liivast juukseid kammides (Combing Hair into Sand), a song cycle composed for vocal ensemble, percussion, violin, and electronics. Drawing inspiration from the poetry of Eha Lättemäe and several generations of Estonian writers, the performance navigates themes of memory and inner perception alongside British vocal group Shards and Swiss drummer Nicolas Stocker.
