Alt saxofonist en componist Ben van Gelder (1988) geldt als een van de grote jazztalenten van zijn generatie. Voor het North Sea Jazz Festival presenteert hij 'The Whole Wide World Is Round', een muzikale ode aan vijftig jaar festivalgeschiedenis.
