JON ELBAZ - Set and Session
An underground jazz night.
Jon Elbaz was born in 1995 and grew up in New Jersey. He started studying the piano at age 8, influenced by the sounds of Erroll Garner, John Coltrane, and Thelonious Monk. After studying at the New England Conservatory from 2013-2017, he became active as a composer and bandleader. Based in New York City since 2017, Elbaz has worked across a wide variety of musical settings. His discography spans quartet compositions, solo piano works, and collaborative improvisational releases. This performance features a set followed by a session.
