THEY WEAR TINY LEATHER PANTS AND CAPES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!'Yup, much better.And yes, you can 'like' a 2 1/2 star film.

I feel a little bit ridiculous watching and enjoying this movie, like I'm a little boy seeing something naughty on late night telly, hoping that my mum won't walk in and embarrass me. It's all so exaggerated and pompous you have to hand it to Snack Zider for pulling it off. I think anyone that doesn't enjoy the 300 on some level is either lying to themselves, lying to others or is just a little dead inside. My advice...embrace your inner child, cut your fruit into small chucks , boogie to the wiggles, snuggle a teddy bear and purchase 300 on Blu-Ray. To totally ruin a beautiful quote from holly horror who stole it from LB-user BodyBoy, in reference to the rating of Cemetery Man, "my brain screams 3.5 stars, but those six lager's whisper 4.5." On this occasion I am going with my six pack (beer that is). I also love that Fassbender, being a proper artist, was willing to slum it and give this job his all. Butler is a beast and Xerxes is an opponent worthy of all this bloody madness. That's acting, this is directing and I stand by the fact that 300 is so beautifully macho, dark and destructive that it fully deserves its place in action movie heaven.
