American Diaper: The deadliest, most lethal Diaper in American Film History, with over 160 confirmed, recorded moments of glorifying a man whose only passion in life was murdering people, of blatantly and maliciously lying and in turn immortalizing a man who considered and referred to a particular section of humans as 'subhuman', of praising the misguided courage of a man who unreasonably deemed his country as the greatest and his people as belonging to a 'higher' kind, of spuriously portraying that man’s vulnerability caused by post war trauma to propagate his humanistic side, when in actuality, he never seemed to have been affected by PTSD at all, a claim that is substantiated and signified by his only qualm “I only wish I had killed more”. When analyzed as to what could have been the reason behind all his abhorrent actions, I decipher that part of it must have stemmed from his delusional, injudicious sense of patriotism and the other should have been that he simply thrived and openly enjoyed The Act of Killing. As if the malevolent lie on which the war and subsequently this film is based on wasn’t deplorable enough, the sorriest thing to have happened with this stinky Diaper is its gross, worldwide gross of $ 300 million. Mr. Eastwood, if you, your crew and those who believe in this film still argue that this is not and never was conceived to be a pro-war film and that its intention was always to be perceived and received as a realistic anti-war film, then I only have one question. Have you even watched Malick's The Thin Red Line or Klimov's Come and See? If this Diaper is your idea of an anti-war film then what in good heavens would you term those two seminal works as? Does that mean those two films did not portray war in all its bloody gory? No, they absolutely did. But there was not even a semblance of glory in their portrayal. What they chose not to do, was glorify the act of war, dignify the actions of those warring souls or idolize the man of the war. The truck loads of shitty lies this Diaper conceals/ignores is abominable and stench inducing. We all lie, it is a human nature and something that simply cannot be eliminated from our lives. You can lie about anything in this world and I would not have cared so much. But when you lie about killing, the reason behind killing and how a man viewed the Act of Killing, a massacre that has impacted millions, and exhibit it to the world, presenting it as a celebrated true story, then in my opinion it is a pernicious, deceitful and condemnable act. It is a serious disservice to the casual film goer and the ones who believe in films and imbibe the opinion that films possess the power to affect, permeate and modify the belief system of the minds who view it. This man was not even a part of the SWAT team. Except for that one time in the film(I do not know whether he actually did it in his real life), he never puts his life on line. He holes himself up in a comfortable vantage point and shoots people like he is playing a video game and you Mr.Eastwood sing praises of him being a legend.Do you know who a true 'Legend' is and what the word means, Mr.Eastwood? Bruce Wayne is a true legend. He doesn't kill people, not even the worst kind who consider murdering as a pastime, a fun activity. They are the most inexorable embodiments of evil, because they have no rhyme or reason for their deeds and can never be appeased, reasoned or negotiated with. Batman's ideology of being a savior does not involve killing. And that is what Legends do Mr. Eastwood. Mr. Wayne, he is a True Legend. You think Batman is fiction, think again. History is studded with real heroes who fought and died for the just cause of their brothers and sisters without indulging in any sort of killing. Gandhi, Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., do the names sound familiar to you? They followed the path of Batman and restrained themselves from resorting to violence, solely basing their protest on resistance and depending on non-violent defiance. Even though they had the numbers behind them and could have ever so easily and effectively triggered the need for violent action within their followers, they strictly chose not to. They are true real life Legends.I am glad that this film was nominated for all the Oscars and eventually awarded a consolation prize for Best Sound Editing. Was it a consolation or an indirect insinuation from the Academy, that this film's voice, sound and idea must be snubbed and snuffed out from spreading across like wildfire. I strongly prefer and root for the latter to be true. Almost everyone knows the truth behind that war and whether or not they choose to believe in it depends on the person's view of the world and life itself. One major takeaway for me from Linklater’s Boyhood was the ‘straight from the heart’ stand it took against the Iraq war. This American Diaper is so phony and fabricated that it cannot even hold back the shit of that fake baby. I was tempted to not rate and avoid offering this Diaper any stars, but since so many have invested their time, hard work and believed in the ‘so called truth’, of a vicious, prejudiced man, that Eastwood has so impetuously divulged to the world, I half-heartedly give this film half a star. My stars do not matter because this Diaper is already reveling in the innumerable stars of vanity embedded upon his final resting place.Chris Kyle, in my opinion, was nothing more than a Gourmand of Killing. He was a living organism who burgeoned by each kill and woefully devolved to a point where the only way he could reassure his existence was by warring. He regarded himself invisible and useless whenever he did come back home to a normal, familial life. He may just be the truest embodiment of the Prehistoric Origin of the Vampire Myth, taking lives and living off it. He is not a human, not a legend, he is a Vampire at best, a necromancer, at least.PS, Caesar knows better than humans in regards to leading a race towards a peaceful future. He preaches the cardinal rule, “Ape do not kill Ape”. Even Koba had a just reason to attack the humans, Kyle did not have any as far as I am concerned. If Darwin were alive today and if he watched The Planet of the Apes and American Diaper, he would wonder, has the human race evolved or devolved.I am ashamed to be an Indian after watching India's Daughter, but sadly no one seems to feel a speckle of shame when killing is done in the name of war. A war is a literal equivalent of raping a whole country.
Only Americans could venerate the leader of a murderous death squad rampaging through a sovereign foreign land uninvited with the express purpose of executing fellow human beings, including women and children, and who has no other noteworthy accomplishments to his name, nor any higher aspirations than military service. In totally unrelated news, I have no idea why this place sucks shit.
