Only Child Energy: The Movie
Family channels are a disease
social media satire that is closer to reality than it is an overblown comic strip. does a lot of things right but is not managing to create an own style, being more of a german version of Östlund x Lanthimos x McKay with a sprinkle of Haneke. still one of the better films, both out of this country and at the film festival this year. also had a decent q&a which unfortunately is a rarity in this town.
It follows a teenage influencer whose entire life has been documented for her parents' family social media channel until a new sibling disrupts the dynamic.
It was directed by Joscha Bongard as a satirical drama exploring digital family life.
