"Ere this night does wane, you will drink the black sperm of my vengeance!"What on Earth, Roger Ebert, you weird fucker!?! People can think of him as their favorite film critic of all time but I will always think of you as the screenwriter for this film. Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is in my Top 10 films of all time. And, really, can you blame me? Directed by tit master, Russ Meyer, this film has absolutely everything that anyone could or would want. Sex?Yes. Drugs? Sure. All-female rock band? It's there. Lesbians? You got it. Tits? Absofuckinglutely. Cynthia Myers has the most amazing breasts. Every time I watch this I just wonder at her lovely body. John Lazar as Ronnie Z-Man Barzell gives one the most... what is the word?... insane perfomances I've ever seen. There is some crazy shit going on here. Parties, drugs, prostitution, sex, death, wheelchairs, the beach, and Nazis. It also stars two of my favorite actors Michael Blodgett as Lance Rocke and Charles Napier as Baxter Wolfe. If you've seen this, you know what I'm talking about, if you haven't seen this, well, correct that this weekend.
