weirdly pro-communist ??
I just need to say that Paul Giamatti in the 2000s was simply out of control. In just a three year stretch, he went from playing Cleveland Heep to Santa Claus to John Adams. He was Harvey Pekar. He was Big Momma's partner. He was an ape on a whole planet of them. He got drunk on a whole lotta wine. He was a "big fat liar". He appeared in 21 theatrically released films in this decade and each role is unique to the next. The man did it all, and continues to do it all. I find it compelling that he and Philip Seymour Hoffman both came up as "that guy" character actors in the 90s at the same time and both blossomed as A-list character actors in the 00s at the same time. As for Fred Claus, I can't believe it exists but here it is.
This film gets real creepy whenever Kevin Spacey is on screen and like, it makes perfect sense now
