Listen this clearly isn’t actually a 5 star movie, but it is to me. It’s like a low budget goth lifetime movie and I’ve loved it forever. There’s Amish rest stop sex, graveyard dancing montages to the cure, and some catty goths laughing at the main character cause he doesn’t know who poppy z brite is. It just makes me happy and reminds me of my youth ok?

This was a surprisingly charming indie coming of age road trip movie. Two goth friends dream of something more than their small town in Ohio and take a road trip to New York to sing in a Stevie Nicks themed club. On the way they meet some odd characters, learn to let go of their past, accept who they are and discover themselves along the way. Love the goth aesthetic, they are so extra bringing their own candelabras and table clothes everywhere lol, that's dedication. Also they drive a cool trans am. Really wasn't expecting much but all the characters are so fleshed out and feel real. My only question though, is Stevie Nicks goth?
