This is a wild movie. Long time fan of Macon Blair here, and I respect the original attempt, but I don’t think this marriage of slapstick universe-logic and satirical thriller-tone works. The result is a concoction that constantly strains credulity. I was willing to suspend disbelief, and I know they’re idiots, but goddamn.
