he gets a fifty dollar raise and she gets a fifty dollar raise.what? what for?écoutez. l’incident est clos ⋆˙⟡ ♡♡. is this cukor’s best film? definitely not, but i found it both entertaining and enjoyable. it may not be perfect but it was so charming ♡and speaking of charm, while watching goodbye again i didn’t find yves charming at all — mostly because he was the rival of the man who has the dreamiest deer eyes in the world, my boy anthony perkins ♡ that said, yves was surprisingly attractive to me in this film. his character was a prick, yet so handsome in a loser way. very very cute ♡marilyn looked absolutely stunning in this film! i literally could listen to her voice forever ♡ she truly shines in musicals and cukor knew exactly how to showcase that ♡ it may not be for everyone but considering it isn’t a short film and i didn’t get bored at all, i would say i enjoyed it a lot.
