Under immense pressure and amidst competition with a duplicitous colleague, Stan, the ambitious and very serious operations manager of a construction firm reaches breaking point when he learns that he’s been unfairly laid off by the company’s tyrannical CEO. He impulsively steals one million euros from the company’s vault, tosses away the key to the safe and hastily flees with his fiancée Marine… Before discovering that his termination was a mistake, and he is actually being promoted! Stan has until sunrise to return the money to the vault. But having thrown away his key, and with the only spare inside the CEO’s own apartment, he must reluctantly enlist the help of Hippolyte, Paris’s most unpredictable locksmith. The night promises to be full of twists and turns!

Like a giving birth in traffic jam: painful, bad for women, and difficult to watch.We're meant to sympathize with a rich misogynist who has problems breaking the law for his richer boss. A worthless piece of counterfeit comedy where I wanted only bad things for the lead character from the opening minutes.
L’histoire avait un pitch qui aurait pu donner un truc sympa, mais c’est traité de manière vraiment plate.Les scènes qui essayent d’être marrantes ne m’ont pas fait rire du tout, ça tombe complètement à plat.Les persos ne sont pas attachants et on a du mal à rentrer dedans.Au final, ça se regarde mais c’est vite oubliable et clairement pas un film que je retiendrai.Pourtant, Rayane Bensetti est un acteur que j’apprécie plutot bien. Ps = J’étais seul dans la salle a la séance de 17h40 ( on voit que le film va flop.)

Gefühlt taucht er in jeder zweiten französischen Komödie auf – und leider auch immer wieder als dieselbe Figur, ohne große Entwicklung oder neue Facetten.Le Million macht da keine Ausnahme. Die Story ist so simpel gestrickt, dass der Film stellenweise fast amateurhaft wirkt. Vieles fühlt sich billig an – nicht charmant schlicht, sondern eher lieblos umgesetzt. Die Dialoge sind oft anstrengend, besonders die deutschen Passagen wirken völlig deplatziert und reißen einen eher raus, als dass sie etwas beitragen.Der Humor ist typisch französisch - trifft hier selten ins Schwarze. Viel Chaos, viel Hektik, aber wenig echte Lacher. Auch der Schnitt bleibt unspektakulär und trägt kaum zur Dynamik bei. The story is so simple that the film often comes across as almost amateurish. A lot of it feels cheap – not in a charming, minimalistic way, but rather careless and uninspired. The dialogue can be quite tiring, and the German-speaking parts in particular feel completely out of place, pulling you out of the experience instead of adding anything meaningful.The humor is typically French – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing – but here it rarely lands. There’s a lot of chaos and frantic energy, but very few genuine laughs. The editing is also fairly unremarkable and does little to enhance the pacing. On the positive side, the music works decently well at times and manages to add a bit of atmosphere.In the end, it’s 90 minutes that feel like a collection of familiar tropes – without any real twist or standout moments.
