an interesting premise with potential to be a really entertaining heist film at the very least, but is ultimately underwhelming in its execution. in spite of this, there are still pretty good performances from the main cast—although I was most compelled by dorothy dandridge’s performance and character (in her last film role). it was her who kept me watching
Two guys commit a robbery in London, one double crosses the other and runs away to Spain. The other chases him to get revenge. Great acting though and the story is well written. Very enjoyable -except- for the first 14 minutes or so which have essentially no dialogue and are just a very drawn out robbery scene. The same scene could have been better if it were shortened and put a little later in the film so we could actually care about the characters before they go and do the biggest action sequence in the movie.
