Made by friends, so thank god I loved it!Viewers for whom "plot" is central might have a harder time with Morbid Weekend. There's a story here, but it's simple and told entirely by implication via several mostly-static long takes. It also looks and sounds gorgeous, and captures a certain type of eerie, Southern California night vibes as well as anything I've seen. Both an affecting piece of slow cinema AND a goofy tale of pizza delivery from beyond the grave!
