I’m still thinking if I’m feeling how I feel watching this bc I was sitting in the middle of an American crowd and now that I live in the UK, I’ve recognized that black joy on screen is a very different nuanced narrative in the US and the UK. Important film still tho!
Watched at Indy Shorts 2026.
