2026: film 35“here, in the circus... i’m just pomni.”what a shit fucking finale to a show i loved for two and a half years. it's like gooseworx took everything that was good about episodes 1-8 and decided we deserve none of it anymore lol. absolutely disgraceful finale, and i've watched squid game season 3, stranger things season 5 AND disventure camp all stars.the crew finds out theyre brainscans, has a mild panic attack before moving on through the power of a montage, then they let jax wander off and abstract OFF-SCREEN after SPECIFICALLY stating in episode 8 they WOULDNT let him do that, THEN the film becomes Jax: The Movie and its aaaaaall about jax and KINGER doesnt get a SINGLE FUCKING LINE outside of his Convenient Lore Exposition and Pomni Reassurance (that is a cheap repeat of e3 btw and pomni points this out), not to mention poor gangle and zooble who are so forgettable outside of their post-credit SEX SCENE so congrats ig abstradegy is canon nowo yea and CAINE COMES BACK. FOR SOME FUCKING REASON. e8 makes such a big deal of his deletion and we think its gonna be so important and then he just. Shows up and apparently the blue AI is the flawed one not him?? despite him being clearly implied to be the flawed one bc he was tossed out???? does goose not know her own show orrrrr?????? and then the crew is just fine with being immortal gods stuck in the circus forever and the show acts as if this is amazing and awesome and great despite it being so freaky?? like youre stuck in a digital world with no way out and only so much you can do to entertain yourself?? idklet's not forget about the whole mess surrounding this release. initially scheduled for june 19th on youtube, glitch decided on a cinema release exclusive to the usa and japan, with the promise that if YOU do THEIR job and reach out to your local cinema, you might get the movie too (and thus avoid being spoiled for two weeks). this rightfully got a lot of people, myself included, mad, but we were called ungrateful and spoiled by some outsiders so we adapted and put out some campaigns. i watched fans from greece, turkey, england, gibraltar and others, alongside myself from romania, do our best to bring the movie to our countries. while some of us won over our distributors, turkish and romanian fans got left in the dust by glitch, showing they care more about the money rather than the fans.then the movie leaked and boy oh boy am i glad it did! of course i still spent money on a movie ticket in fucking moldova (moldova, serbia, hungary and bulgaria all got the movie, but romania didn't hahaha isn't that funny isn't that hilarious hahaha) but i ended up giving it away to a romanian fan. and that's only cuz i couldn't find a refund page.terrible terrible jax-focused finale that somehow adds nothing to the show and makes it even worse. i think episode 8 works as a better finale LOL.edit: i did NOT expect this review to get so popular (i'm very flattered haha) so please don't take it so seriously, it was supposed to just be for myself and my moots and thus it's more dramatized and silly than i would write a more formal review. don't take it too seriously or personally. i'm just a rando on the internet 👍 peace and love
