Directed by Noah Segan
Harry Lehman is an aging pickpocket who plies his trade with ever-diminishing returns in a drastically changed New York. Wallets stuffed with cash have been replaced by easily cancelled credit cards, and Harry struggles to make ends meet as he cares for his disabled wife, Rosie. When he unwittingly purloins and fences a valuable USB stick, Harry finds himself in a race against time to return the loot or face the rage of a vengeful crime family.

your outie is a charming pickpocket from new york
Get the sense that folks are shortchanging this one a bit as “minor” when it’s anything but. Among Turturro’s best. I think you see an old man crime movie starring Turturro, Esposito and Buscemi and you have an idea in your head and it’s not NOT that but I think it’s much more thoughtful and insular than I was expecting. Really loved sitting in it. Less the ~love letter to NYC~ you’d maybe write it off as but much more of a piece with Eddie Coyle. Dug this a ton.

While marketed as a crime thriller, the film functions primarily as an intimate character study with noir elements and a focus on the city's changing landscape.
