really enjoyed this one — it’s warm, playful, tender, and fun. quite melancholic at times too yet very hopeful, with unexpected turns and twists that made me smile (or tear up a little but pls don’t tell anyone). real life and life on screen are intertwined here, and I caught myself dozing off to some dreamlike place, thinking of friendships lost and found over the years and of things from long ago that shaped me more than i thought. in the first novel the protagonist says that movies feel like old friends, and it sums up this experience perfectly — it’s a love letter to cinemas, filmmaking and the art of moviegoing in all its shapes and forms.#ММКФ48
Meaningful Stone’s appearance was my favorite thing about it.The shot film with children, I just instantly knew it was by Yoon Ga-eun.
It is an omnibus film that explores the lives of those who make and watch movies, celebrating the shared experience of cinema.
It was directed by Lee Jong-pil, Yoon Ga-eun, and Jang Kun-jae in 2026.
Full schedule on Mood.
