Kind of appropriate that I watched this right after Cancer season began. What a weird, fun little movie!Full review
Kaya has always wanted to be just like all the other cells in her part of the body. So, when the others begin preparing for the great quest, and she’s left behind - her heart breaks. Determined to find her own way, Kaya sets off, alone, into the vast and mysterious world of the body. Along the way, she rescues the grumpy but noble General Abel and despite being total opposites, an unlikely friendship begins to bloom. When danger grows from within, Kaya and Abel must work together to protect the body they call home, and Kaya must discover that what sets her apart might just be what makes her truly special.

The movie is entertaining, has a good story, and is very educational for children, helping them understand a bit about what happens to the cells in the body. It shows which cells are good and which are bad. I highly recommend it.
It has a solid theme — especially for kids — where we dive into the human body and mainly meet cancer cells. It’s obviously not a documentary, but it does a decent job of roughly explaining how things like cancer, chemotherapy, enzymes, nerves, and signals work. It helps make complicated ideas more understandable for kids, which is genuinely great. As a movie, though, it’s pretty mid. I never really connected with the protagonist, Kaja, mostly because she doesn’t feel very well written — her reactions and choices often come off as forced. You also shouldn’t expect top-tier animation from a Norwegian production. The lighting and production design are actually quite good, but the character movement and cinematography feel limited. On top of that, the story sticks closely to a familiar formula, making it fairly predictable.
Unstoppable follows a small cell named Kaya who embarks on a journey through the human body to find her place and encounters a battle against illness alongside a grumpy general.
Unstoppable was directed by Norwegian filmmaker Martin Lund and released in 2026.
