A nostalgic, raw rock act.
A NEW FACADE is the brainchild of songwriter James Khan, born from a return to songs first written in the 1990s and newly recorded in Summer 2025 on a four-track cassette recorder. THINGS WERE BETTER IN THE OLD DAYS was recorded entirely by James in his home studio and released via Dual Records. The album captures a raw, old school approach to production. Not over produced and sounds like the albums from the 90s that are admired to this day. Now expanded into a full band, A NEW FACADE brings these songs beyond the studio. Joined by James Randlesome on drums and Emily Brewster on bass, the project transforms into a powerful live experience. “NO ONE WANTS YOUR SOUL” is the first single from the album OUT NOW.
A New Facade plays raw, 90s-inspired indie rock recorded on analog equipment with a distinct lo-fi aesthetic.
