Abo Abo

Abo Abo [Daniele Carcassi, 1993] is a sound artist, experimental performer, deejay & producer. Active since 2015 in all kinds of electronic music contexts, he moves naturally between underground, theaters, clubs and rave parties, which brought him to important national and international music events in Canada, UK, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy. After a master's degree in Sound Design and a bachelor's degree in Electronic Music, he is constantly immersed in musical research, where he has developed a complete and multifaceted expertise. In his DJs and live sets he plays fast techno with sonic, trance and tribal influences; in his experimental performances he uses modular synthesizers through an electroacoustic language of free improvisation; his sound installations are based on special multichannel spatialization systems he designed himself. He is also active within the new cultural realities related to electronic music, as part of the DE RIO collective and label; co-founder of Sinestesie, a Sunday afternoon party series; music producer of SARABAMBA, a queer collective of DJs & performers.
