Adam Prescott

One of the key players in the Reggae Roast Soundsystem and the re-emergence of British Reggae & Dub, Adam Prescott has produced original songs featuring Cornel Campbell, Macka B, Sugar Minott, Ranking Joe, Rod Taylor, Johnny Osbourne and Earl 16 plus many more. His productions are often heard on Soundsystems such as Iration Steppas, Sinai and O.B.F. plus on stations such as BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, Rinse FM and 6Music from the likes of Don Letts, Mala, J:Kenzo, Huey Morgan, Gilles Peterson and Sir David Rodigan. In recent times Adam has formed a new act, ‘Greensleeves Hi-Fi’, to bring music from the iconic British record label, Greensleeves, to the masses. Greensleeves Hi-Fi have taken the music from the iconic Greensleeves label directly to the people through a series of ‘Soundsystem style’ DJ sets from Geneva to London to Berlin and Belfast. Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Reggae Land, Dub Camp and International Dub Gathering are just some of the sold-out festivals the crew has performed at. They currently hold down a residency at Peckham’s Jumbi, where they also collaborated with Adidas and the Jamaican Football Federation, plus they have brought the Greensleeves Hi-Fi vibes to Soho House, Somerset House, The Jazz Café and the Tate Modern.
