An underground folk metal act from the local scene.
Ampest is a modern folk metal band from Estonia that bridges traditional heritage with the heavy, down-tuned weight of contemporary metal. Formed originally as an offshoot project before rebranding, the six-piece group blends atmospheric synthesizers, orchestral arrangements, and dual native-language vocals. Their sound captures a powerful mix of historical resonance and crushing melodic metal intensity.
