Artemis & Apollo

Artemis & Apollo is a UK-based Symphonic Metal project founded by Richard Corbett and Karina Artemis Afrodite. Combining film-score-inspired orchestration, driving guitars, soaring soprano vocals, and powerful growls, the band creates an epic sound that blends cinematic grandeur with the energy and heaviness of metal music. Inspired by the pioneers of symphonic metal while forging their own identity, Artemis & Apollo delivers music that moves effortlessly between angelic melodies, operatic power, crushing riffs, and fast-paced orchestral arrangements. Following the release of their debut single, "Believe", in 2021, the project expanded in 2022 with the addition of guitarist Simon Shields and drummer Harry Paul, both of whom remained with the band until early 2023. During this period, Artemis & Apollo established themselves on the UK live circuit and released their debut album. In late summer 2023, guitarist Krisztian Gyapjas joined the band, adding a new dimension to their sound and live performances. Since then, the band has released the singles "Seven" and "Huginn & Muninn" while continuing work on their upcoming album. Blending mythology, emotion, and orchestral power, Artemis & Apollo continue to carve their place within the symphonic metal scene.
