Artūrs Sebris is a Latvian saxophonist, arranger, and educator. He graduated with distinction from the Jazz Department of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. Sebris has performed with Jelgava Big Band, Šiauliai Big Band, M/A “Vintāža,” Latvian Blues Band, the ensemble Fried Bananas, and many other Latvian jazz and popular music groups. In 2019 he received the award for Best Wind Soloist at the Amsterdam Big Band Festival, and in 2022 he was honored with the Nick Gothama Award for outstanding creative work. He is also active as a music historian and co-author of the Latvian Radio 3 program Jazz Impressions.
Artūrs Sebris plays contemporary jazz and big band arrangements, highlighted by expressive saxophone performances and collaborations with ensembles like the Latvian Blues Band.
