Almere-based pop punk band AstroNutz crash back onto the scene with their explosive new single “Ending Road.” This track is a chaotic love letter to chasing your dreams, even when everything’s going sideways. Written and recorded entirely DIY, Ending Road is AstroNutz’s first release not tested live before hitting tape and it hits hard. “It’s the feeling of going full speed toward something you believe in, only to hit every red light along the way,” says the band. “But nothing lasts forever,not the struggles, not the setbacks. ‘Forever is an ending road.’” Sonically, the track pulls from the golden era of pop punk, think Sum 41, Blink-182, Green Day and injects it with modern energy, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and a massive DIY spirit. The accompanying video, directed by band members and shot by Dianne Bode, features the band in their hometown of Almere. What started as a plan for a rooftop shoot turned into a raw, spontaneous skatepark performance that captures the band's unfiltered energy. And yes, there’s a longboard. AstroNutz are currently working on their next album, with Ending Road as the first taste. A full nationwide tour is planned for early 2026 with two other rising pop punk bands. So, what do they want listeners to take away? “Get hyped, bring the zeros back, and blast it loud enough that your friends send you a ‘wtf is this’ message, that’s when you know it’s working.”
