auntie is a four member indie art rock group from Connecticut. The band is made up of Nick Martin (vocals, bass), Alexander Filippides (vocals, guitar), Connor Noel (drums), and Brandon Vargas (guitar). They released their first EP, "Just Leave It", in February of 2022. Inspired by alternative music of the late 90s and early 2000s through bands such as The Strokes, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Pavement— as well as contemporary acts like Black Country, New Road and Hotline TNT— auntie explores the sounds of alternative, shoegaze, and post-punk music to create a vibe uniquely their own.
