Sharing stages like the Windmill Brixton with bands such as Man/Woman/Chainsaw and Heavy Lungs since their formation in 2023, the two-piece continue to push their sound with unapologetic oddity, navigating meme culture, social satire and existential dread. With their sophomore EP, “WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE INTERNET”, the duo offer a surreal window into online relationships. It features the band’s signature absurdist lyrics and acrobatic guitar playing, and scrambles its way through a stacked lineup of zany narrators and even zanier riffs. From a meditation on failed stardom to a protagonist in love with Microsoft PowerPoint to a doomscrolling monologue set to a midwest emo instrumental, these 5 tracks will have you wondering just how funny the internet actually is.
