You’ve heard him on Radio X, BBC Scotland, and RTE. You’ve heard him spun by the iconic Rodney on the Rock. But after hitting the skids and going off the rails for two years, Birrell or Biscuit is back from the brink to cut through the noise with “The Love You Need.” Forged in the fire of a personal hell, the new single is a statement of survival and rebirth. Co-produced with Jason Shaw of Fuzz Face Studios and mastered by Stefan at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, the track is a sonic testament to his return. It features the driving bass of old bandmate Col Brennan and the distinct synth work of Ned Scott, known for his role in the seminal dance group The Egg. As always, the single will be released on his co-owned label, Whanga Records. This isn’t just a comeback; it’s a reclamation.
