BLUAI

BLUAI is an Antwerp-based indie-pop trio consisting of Catherine Smet, Mo Govaerts and Caitlin Talbut. Blending indie folk influences with alternative pop songwriting, the band has built a strong live reputation while steadily growing audiences across Belgium, Europe and the UK. The project began in Smet’s bedroom when she was seventeen, eventually evolving into a full band in 2021. Their breakthrough came quickly: within a year BLUAI won Belgium’s three leading music contests, including De Nieuwe Lichting on Studio Brussel, leading to national airplay and festival appearances at Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lokerse Feesten and Cactus Festival. Since the release of their debut album Save It For Later (2024), BLUAI have continued to expand internationally through touring and showcases across Europe and the UK, earning attention from outlets such as Rolling Stone UK and The Independent.
