Boris S. is one of the defining figures in the development of the early Schranz sound and a true pioneer of the early 2000s Hard Techno movement. Founder of the influential labels Skull Tunes, Frown, and Synopsis, he released countless productions that shaped the raw, driving aesthetic of Schranz and Hard Techno. Known for iconic releases on Definition of Hardtechno, Audiocode, Skull Tunes, Bitshift and T:Classix / Alphabet City, and as the creator of the legendary “Schranz Total” mix CD series, Boris S. became one of the key architects of the genre’s explosive rise. His tracks — including classics like Travel Pussy, Wet T-Shirt Contest, and Candyman — became staples in DJ sets worldwide. After nearly a decade-long break from performing, Boris S. has returned to the stage, reigniting the relentless energy and unmistakable sound that made him one of the most influential Schranz artists of his generation.
